Throughout the eighties and nineties, Quint earnt a living as a film extra, actor, and voice over; he also spent 15 years as a cameraman, working with Top of The Pops and The National Lottery. Quint graduated with an M.A in Psychotherapy in 1995 when he began a private practice; and in 2000 he founded Shoot you, a production company. Quint's relationship with alcohol began as a child watching his father battle alcoholism, and in his adult years, Quint subsequently developed his own addiction to alcohol.
