yeah we had a really quiet relaxing new year it was really nice how about you i didn't even stay up till midnight You know what? I fell asleep around 1130, and then Chad came in and woke me up, and we said, Happy New Year, and then went back to sleep.

Yeah, okay. Because I live in a town where we like our fireworks here in this town, and so any firework shooting off occasion, it will happen. It's happening. Yeah, even some that aren't firework occasions, we still have them. Life in a small town. Anyway, so our guest today, I'm excited to talk to. She was actually referred to us by our friend Bob Fountain, who has been with us on the podcast when we were Paranormal Underground Radio. And he is one of her students. Her name is Annie Paulus. And she is many things, a Reiki master, a life coach, a meditation coach, and many other things as well. So we're excited to talk to her. Annie, welcome to Intention Is Everything.

Yeah, so welcome back. It's been a while. Yeah, thank you. Welcome back. And you and I have a lot in common. We do a lot of the same things. Yeah,
I
remember. I do the Reiki and stuff too. Right. But you do a lot of different types of Reiki that I don't even know anything about.
Yeah, actually, when I started off with my Reiki training, I was so excited. I first did my Osoi Reiki training, and I was just so excited with Reiki and energy healing that I just wanted to learn more and more different modalities. But honestly, if you just know any one type of Reiki, that's more than enough. Because it's really the same thing. It has just been after taking like five, six different types of Reiki courses, I realized that it's the same thing. Yeah, yeah. You don't really need to... learn the
different types. I've done a couple. I've done like Karuna Kai and Raku Reiki. And so, and yeah, they are kind of all the same thing. They just sort of have different symbols. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. And symbols with different intentionalities. But what I've realized is symbols, they are your connection to source energy. And you can go into a meditative state and come up with your own symbols. And that is pretty much the case with most of the Reiki masters who came up with the different types of Reikis. They came up with those symbols usually in a meditative state. So Mikao Usui, he's... came up with the Reiki symbols. He received the Reiki symbols after meditation. That is a story that I heard or I read that after 21 day meditation period, he received this energetic download and he had these symbols in his mind as a vision. And, you know, you can go into a meditative state and you can always ask source or the universe to provide to you a symbol that would be your unique representation with source energy.
And then you can start using that symbol in your healing sessions. And the more you use those symbols, the more that symbol gets charged with that particular intention.
Sure. I love that. That's a great idea. I do something similar, but I do it with like crystals and singing bowls.
