Why, oh why, will no one take the Cleveland Browns job knowing that you have a Pro Bowl quarterback? It seems like it's a tailor-made job for success. Shador made the Pro Bowl. What else? Hot young talent. I want to know how Shador found out that he made the Pro Bowl because usually the coach calls you and the Browns don't have a coach. I was hoping that maybe Jeff Ulbrich's son had to give him a call and let him know as punishment for what he did during the draft. This might be what kills the Pro Bowl. We've been begging for the Pro Bowl to die.
It's been on life support, and it's been time to pull the plug for a while. And maybe the fact that Shador made it, that should be the end of the line, right? So Shador Sanders, yes. The Pro Bowl, I love this for the discourse. I love how mad people are getting because the Pro Bowl... if you've been paying any attention has not meant anything for a really long time now. And this is the final nail in the coffin. Shador had 1400 yards, seven touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and an 18.9 QBR. He makes it as an alternate because Drake Mays in the Super Bowl, Josh Allen's hurt. Who else is on the list? Lamar's hurt. I went through the list. Herbert's hurt. Aaron Rodgers is old. Trevor Lawrence didn't get asked. Is that true?
I don't know. He must have gotten asked. He must have turned it down. I went through the list in my head, and it's like Bo Nix is hurt. Geno would probably be one that did not get asked. Which, by the way, when we did our losers on Monday, we forgot Geno Smith. Again, loser is a relative term because he plays professional football and he's a quarterback and he's made a ton of money. But Geno Smith got traded from the Seahawks and they immediately went to the Super Bowl and the team he went to got the number one pick. Yeah. That's as brutal as it gets.
