Yeah, I'd love to sit in one of these nice and cool places of the Plus Review, when I'm somewhere on the edge of a fat mountain. I'll have a cup of coffee, and hey, there are always these amazing inventors.

Tekijöiden kauppa. Hi, this is Pod Save the UK. I'm Nish Kumar.
Coco Khan 0:44
And I'm Coco Khan.
Nish Kumar 0:46
This week, it's just us and you as we rifle through our mailbag to answer some of your burning questions.
Coco Khan 0:51
That's right. No guess. Just the two of us. We can make it if we try. Sorry.
Nish Kumar 0:59
Now we have to pay Bill Withers loyalties.
Coco Khan 1:03
Will we do a sort of trumpet interlude in the mailbag episode? Yeah, well, it's the mailbag episode, so we'll be answering the big head scratchers. How do we tackle the climate crisis? How long will the United Kingdom stay united? And what should we call the listeners of this pod?
Nish Kumar 1:20
So basically, I'm hoping that we're about, we haven't seen any of these things. One of the fun things about the Mailbag episode is the producers redact the information that they give us in the scripts. And so we haven't seen any of these questions. I hope that this is the first that you're hearing of us. Yeah. And we've not had to cut something in because Nigel Farage has tried to launch a citizen's arrest on Count Binface or something. I'm just hoping that something deeply stupid hasn't happened that's had to cut into this. So let's just go straight in with the first question. So the first question is, what should listeners of the pod be known as?
Coco Khan 1:56
Okay, so there's some suggestions here. Bin faces, like wall faces from Free Body Problem. Pod saviors. P-S-U-K-ing legends. P-S-U-K-ers, but pronounced suckers, so the P is silent. Suckers. Or U-K-E's. U-Kies?

How do Nish and Coco decide what to call their listeners?

Coco Khan 2:14
I think that's how you would say that.
Nish Kumar 2:16
U-Kies.
Coco Khan 2:17
U-Kies. Do you know what? I was in the hairdresser the other day and my Gen Z hairdresser was talking about someone glazing someone. I hadn't heard this word before, glazing. Apparently young people say it, to say that someone's great, to gas them up.
Nish Kumar 2:31
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Coco Khan 2:32
And I've been thinking about that. So maybe because there's a love relationship between us and the listeners, we could call them donuts.
Nish Kumar 2:42
Because we're glazing them all the time.
Yeah.
Nish Kumar 2:44
I still think it sounds like an insult. Donut sounds like something... It sounds like something someone in EastEnders would say to each someone. You fucking donut.
Coco Khan 2:53
Yeah, but I think that's why it works. Because some people would think it would be abuse, but the real heads know that it's love.
Nish Kumar 3:00
So are we going to start referring to our listeners as donuts? We haven't actually adopted any of the things that have been suggested by the listeners. We've been very undemocratic in this. Pod Saviors sounds too much.
Coco Khan 3:11
Yeah.
Nish Kumar 3:13
Yookies. I don't mind yookies.
Coco Khan 3:16
Yookies sounds like what you would, you know, walkies with a dog.
Nish Kumar 3:21
I quite like suckers, but the P is silent. I don't mind that as a piece of wordplay. I mean, I think bin faces, I think we'd face a copyright injunction from Count Binface. But yeah, I think probably.
Coco Khan 3:33
Are you just going to disregard my doughnuts idea?
Nish Kumar 3:37
I mean, listen, I like donuts.
Coco Khan 3:39
That's so you, isn't it?
Nish Kumar 3:40
I like donuts. I'm a fan of donuts, be they the snack or the Jay Diller album. I'm a fan of donuts in all contexts. Yeah, I just wonder whether glazing is too... Well, let's do it. Let's see.
Coco Khan 3:56
If you're happy with glazing... Oh, and then if you're a super fan, you could be double glazing.
Nish Kumar 4:00
Yeah, fine. Well, hang on a second. They're doughnuts and double glazers. You've mixed your metaphors here. It's windows and confectionery. Pick one, Khan.
Coco Khan 4:09
Pick one. Let's move on.
Nish Kumar 4:11
We'll go with doughnuts. We'll start referring to them as doughnuts from now on. Watch me immediately forget that. Oh, wow. The producers have all booed it out here. And they kind of all did it at the same time. And it did create a weird harmony thing.
Coco Khan 4:22
Yeah, it was quite pretty. Okay, we won't do donuts then.
