I'm Bailey Taylor, and this is It Girl. This podcast is all about going deeper with the women's shaping culture right now. Yes, we will talk about the style and the success, but we are also talking about the pressure, the expectations, and the real work behind it all.
As a woman in the industry, you're always underestimated. So you have to work extra hard in a way that doesn't compromise who you are and your integrity. You know, I like to say I was kind of like a silent ninja.
Listen to It Girl with Bailey Taylor on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hi, it's Jill Winterstein, host of the Spirit Daughter podcast, where we talk about astrology, natal charts, and how to step into your most vibrant life. And today I'm talking with my dear friend, Krista Williams. It can change you in the best way possible. Dance with the change, dance with the breakdowns. The embodiment of Pisces intuition with Capricorn power moves.
So I'm like delusionally proud of my chart. Listen to the Spirit Daughter podcast starting on February 24th on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcasts. Good people, what's up, what's up? It's Questlove.
So recently I had the incredible opportunity to have a real conversation with actress and producer Jamie Lee Curtis from Routines to Recovery, True Lies, and a certain Jermaine Jackson music video. Jamie's real and raw, and it's something I really admire about her.
I am so happy that I'm the head in charge at 67, that I have the perspective that I have at my age to really be able to put all of this into context. Listen to The Questlove Show on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Chapter 2: How did 2 Chainz transition from 'Titty Boy' to a global brand?
I love it.
We used to bond. Really?
With the Strip Club music.
Honestly, I mean, honestly, we can talk about this on and off, but you never danced before. No. Oh, I did. I'm looking at this one right here. I'm looking at this one trying to laugh. I definitely did. I said, best believe you're going to eat this food. I drove out the city. I went to Dallas and I had a little night. Yeah, you should. But you know what's crazy? I was so young when I did it.
I think I was like 24, 25. And what's crazy about it is I felt like I didn't go back because I was like, oh, this is actually hard work. Because, you know, behind the bar, you think they just having fun and dancing, but it was actually still a job. Yeah, it's still a job. respectfully, but I was like, oh, I don't... This is not for me. This is too hard. It's a workout. It was a workout.
It was very hard, but when y'all of them strippers came on, I was a stripper that night. I got a strip club here in Atlanta. I might need y'all to come do, like, that again. We went to your club. We went to your club because one of our friends, shout out to Weezy, she has a show on Fuse called 6L. Yes. And we had to film a scene of her show there at your club.
Really?
Downtown, yeah. This was like last year. And we had a ball. And we had a good time. For real? We need to host one night there.
Let's party.

Chapter 3: What insights does 2 Chainz share about his meet-and-greet experiences?
I'm going to do a meet and greet. Mine won't be a thousand.
Okay.
I need to find a good number for my meet and greet. And then I like to include stuff. I probably include the book. Yeah. Y'all see, green need to be like the book and y'all smoking. Because you know you had Expensivist where you would get the... It needs to be like an experience. The people that smoke, I don't smoke because I can't handle it. I like Reggie. I don't like to smoke good weed.
Yeah, if I smoke, I can't. I be too high. I don't like that. So you need to have experience where it's like some good weed and y'all like talking about little things. Well, it's hard to talk about Because a meet-and-greet is a line. What y'all don't see in the pictures, when you do a meet-and-greet, they count the people. It's 40-something people out there, 50-something people.
So you can't have too many intimate conversations with one person when it's a line of people coming.

Chapter 4: How does 2 Chainz describe the impact of faith and intuition on his life?
But that's why I wasn't mad at Chris Brown for doing something over the top so it won't just seem like they just got a quick hug and got out of there. Because I'm not sure if they're like, damn, that was cool, or damn, I forgot what I was going to say or I wanted to say something.
Yeah.
Well, I think that's how 85 does their meet and greets. They, like, in a room. They put everybody in a room. In a room. So they're, like, talking.
Oh.
And they're, like, in a small, like, a room. Like, say it's like this. But there's, like, maybe.
60 people.
60 people.

Chapter 5: What lessons does 2 Chainz share about financial literacy and investments?
Oh, that's crazy. And they're talking to them. And they're answering questions. And they're having an answer. And then after they get done talking, they do the picture. It's kind of like a post show. So, like, they have the live show. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's hard, though. I ain't never done that.
Chapter 6: What upcoming projects and collaborations does 2 Chainz mention?
We just hug people. Yeah, we hug people and go. We do meet and greets. Y'all do meet and greets? At our shows, yeah. But it be like $60. Let me ask you first. Because she ain't going to act right. Drink some more. What's the wildest thing that happened to you at your meet and greet? Oh, my God, I hate talking about this lady. Oh, my God. She finna come for you. Yes. Oh, my God.
And I blocked her on everything. Let me get another drink and drink. I blocked her on everything. It's this lady that I met at our New Orleans show. She was in a wheelchair, and she was in the very first row at the show. So she had bought a VIP ticket, meet and greet, all of that. The whole show, I'm looking out into the audience, and the whole time she's sitting down there...
Yes, just like that. She was an old boy that good. An old one. I'm so serious. I'm so serious to Shane's the whole time. I'm like licking her tongue out at me, doing all of this suggestive stuff, and I'm just very uncomfortable.
Craig not in the room, but Craig was there, and he literally had to sneak me out of the back door because she was waiting for us to finish doing the meet and greet so she could have a conversation with me. Mind you, she be messaging me, she be emailing me, DMing me, all of this stuff, sending me compatibility charts for our Zodiac signs. She almost ran me over. All type of shit.
In the wheelchair?
Yes. I don't block this lady on every app that you could think of from my email. Why last week, I have a beauty brand too, and I still cosmetics. Why she bought some cosmetics last week? Damn, support nothing. She placed the order, but she's blocked on everything. She placed the order, but mind you, she don't wear makeup.
That's probably the craziest encounter I had because, oh, that's her right there. Shay Childish for pulling this. Oh, my God, that is her. That's a lady? Yes. That's not a lady right there. That is. That's her. She was an old school bull. Didn't they call them that back in the day? Bulldoggers. Bulldoggers. Yeah. That's a woman? Yes. Did you say she was in a wheelchair?
She was in a wheelchair.
That's probably an old photo. It was fast. I was scared she was gonna catch me. I did, too, because Craig had to, like, get Drea out the area, and I was trying to talk to her and distract that Drea was leaving, but she did not care. She was like, where is she going? When did you know she was doing the lick, lick, lick between her fingers? We could see her.
