Renee Rohan is a speech language pathologist at Montgomery, Alabama, and graduate of the Start Your Private Practice program. She started her private practice on the side of her job and then gradually went part-time and then full-time in her private practice. Renee lives in an area with several other SLP private practices, but she was able to set herself apart and grow her private practice because of the huge need in her small community. Renee, you have been one of my all-time favorite start your private practice students. Oh thank you. Well, it's true. And I have to say that one of the reasons why is because you've had to persist a bit and you've had to kind of shift gears a little bit. But no matter what, even when you were faced with a couple of obstacles, you kept going. And now your practice is underway and is thriving, but it didn't start that way. No, it did not.
