Again, for this special three So, Katia Piscatelli, aka Boho Speechy on Instagram, is a speech language pathologist with a pediatric private practice in Sacramento, California.
She launched her private practice, Total Spectrum Speech Therapy, immediately after her clinical fellowship at just 25 years old. She knew that she wanted to start her private practice right away, so after she got a couple of critical. Graduated and took a school job, she joined the Start Your Private Practice program and started seeing private clients on the side. In this episode, she talks about how she was making more money seeing private clients in one afternoon than at her four-day-a-week school job. She also shares how she started her private practice in her mid-20s, developed her niche, hired employees to keep up with demand, and expanded her clinical space to accommodate growth, and she shares about her payer sources and markets.
Yeah. It has been so much fun to watch Katia start with no clients and no business when she joined the Start Your Private Practice program to now having a full private practice just a few years later. If you follow her Instagram account and you want to hear the backstory of how she started her private practice, then this is a must-listen episode. So stay tuned. I'm Jenna Castro-Kasbon, speech language pathologist, business coach, and creator of the Start Your Private Practice System. And I'm on a mission to turn stuck SLPs into successful private practitioners. If you're tired of dealing with high productivity requirements, high caseload sizes, and low pay, it's time to take control of your professional, personal, and financial life and finally get the freedom, flexibility, and financial abundance that you deserve by working with private clients in your own practice.
Join me here each week as I share tips, best practices, and inspirational interviews on the Private Practice Success Stories podcast. If you're a private practitioner or one in the making, you're in the right place, so let's get started.
