So I'm gonna let them introduce themselves in a second. But tonight what we're what we're gonna do is I would like you to hear from actual people, right? So clinicians who were, you know, so-called regular clinicians who have now become successful private practitioners. And so So, you know, I can tell you tons of stuff about the program and, you know, how we work and who we help and how we help them and all that kind of other stuff.
But tonight I would like you to hear from our students and hear exactly what they have been able to experience, you know, kind of what their backgrounds were like, why they decided to join the program and what has happened as a result. So um I think what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna let you guys introduce yourself and I'm just gonna go in order that I see you guys. So um Lexi, would you mind just sharing like your name, your location, and maybe a little bit about when did you start thinking about private practice and what made you decide to go forward with it.
Yes, so my name is Lexi Pruitt. I am currently located in Houston, um, but moved here about a year ago from Saint Louis, which is where I actually initially started my practice. Um, I started the program back in January of twenty twenty one. So it's been a little over two years now. Oh yeah, a little more than a little over two years. Um And I had kind of just started thinking about starting my own private practice after um after COVID, I was seeing so many students that just weren't getting their needs met, um, either outside of the school setting or even in the school setting, which is where I had worked at the time.
