So before we dive in, can you please share your names, your location, and the name of your private practice?
My name is Josie. I'm Jesse. And our practice is called Venodic Therapies of Augusta. And we are located in Augusta, Georgia.
So I am so excited to do this with y'all because I've gotten to know y'all in the start program. And it's been so cool to watch y'all get going. And I always love hearing from all kinds of different practices, including practices that are run by a partnership. Before we get into like how y'all got started, like with teaming up together and what your private practice looks like now, would y'all mind individually talking? About kind of your path to private practice. Like what were you doing before that? And when did you start thinking about private practice?
After graduate school, I started my Anxyl Fellowship. at another outpatient clinic kind of here in our local area and worked there for a little while, made another job transition. I've pretty much since graduate school worked in outpatient. That's really my only working experience. And so just feeling like I wanted to do more and kind of bouncing ideas pretty much off myself and off my family. I have worked with Jesse at both of the locations that we are came from. And so with that, just in passing one day. kind of said, hey, I'm I'm really feeling like I want to do something. I want to do something more. I want to do something different. I just I want to feel happy in what I'm doing. And so she had said to me, why don't we get some dinner?
