So let's go with the Bears wire list because Bears. Bears. Bears. Bears. Okay, so this is what we have so far outside of the one TikTok that ends with Minnesota, I got you. I got you being my favorite part.
So this is the aggregate of all these reporters, whether it be Jordan Schultz or the like, you know, the newsbreakers. Week one at Carolina Panthers.
Chapter 2: What leaked information do we have about the Bears' schedule?
So you don't start against the Seahawks.

Week two at home reportedly against the Minnesota Vikings, Sunday, September 20th, 12 p.m. Central.
2-0. Okay, he's predicting the actual outcomes of these games.
I'm just going to let him cook as I read. 31-21. Week three Philadelphia Eagles, Monday, September 28th. That's supposedly a Monday night game on ESPN. Week four against the New York Jets, Sunday, October 4th, 12 p.m. Central. I think the live studio audience can even chime in with that one.
I mean, come on.

Okay. I noticed he skipped the Eagles game, though. Oh, no, no.
The Bears will have – what did they have last year? They had like 300 yards rushing against the Eagles last year. They'll have 400 yards rushing against the Eagles this year. Am I right, Nancy?

Chapter 3: How does the Bears' schedule affect their upcoming season?
Yes. So you know your Thursday Thanksgiving is set. Jacksonville Jaguars at the Bears reportedly on Sunday, December 6th. That is at noon. 14 and 15, blank according to Bears Wire. 16, Green Bay Packers. Friday, Christmas Day, Netflix. That was the one that was reported earlier today. So Christmas and Thanksgiving are now Bears games. The Detroit Lions reportedly on Sunday, January 3rd.
And then that's the thing. January 3rd is now week 17, according to this. And then week 18 at Minnesota Vikings. So remember how Mike Florio said the entire schedule seemed to be just inching down a week so that way perhaps it would line up Super Bowl Sunday and then President's Day to get the break?

It seems like the week 17-18 dates there kind of enforced that point a little bit more.
My whole issue with the schedule is that when I look at it, even like this partially filled out one, that is a really – and the thing is I knew who the opponents were. Right. I knew it was going to be very difficult. That's why I said I can't see them defending their NFC North crown with the moves they've made this offseason so far. There's still room for improvement.
But when you see it laid out and like you got to go from – The Saints, who were much improved at the end of the year from the team that they saw in the middle of last season, to the Lions four days later, it just seems like a slog, Mark. It seems like there's more L's in there than you probably want to admit.
I mean, what did we settle on? Six standalone games? Seven. Is it seven? Is that what it comes out to? Seven standalone games for the Bears last year? I remember last year they had a streak of six straight noon games or something like that. I mean, in terms of ease of schedule and timing and all of that, it was really nice.
I know it ruins plans, and you have to plan on the holiday and Thanksgiving. I do love Bears Detroit on Thanksgiving. Did you like the last one? Did you like the last one, Mark? The most recent one was maybe the worst first half of football I've ever seen the Chicago Bears play. That was the year that Matt Eberfluss got fired. He got fired the next day.
And then obviously Fluss made some pretty bad decisions in the or the end of the game was one of the worst endings of a Bears game that we have ever seen in our lives.

Chapter 4: What challenges do the Bears face in their upcoming games?
I know you love it. I know you love when I talk about the year 2018. The Bears were at Detroit that day, and Eddie Jackson had the tie-breaking touchdown. pick six to ultimately win that game. Kyle Fuller finished the game by catching the, you remember that, catching the ball in the end zone after he had missed a really easy, a gimme pick six.
So, and Chase Daniel actually quarterbacked that game as well. Had a couple of touchdown throws. I remember talking to him in the locker room and him wearing some ridiculous costume and he had like a big top hat in there. So I'm kind of a sucker for the Bears and Lions on Thanksgiving Day.
Well, I think, again, the promos for this write themselves, right? Like, the last time the Bears played the Lions on Thanksgiving. And then you cut to all of the calamity that ensued.
When Ben Johnson was in Detroit.
As much as I remember that game for being the one where, yeah, it got Matt Iberflues fired and the Bears made history by finally firing somebody midseason, which they had never done as a franchise. It also was a game where I said to myself, Caleb Williams will keep you in a game, no matter how dire it looks. Once again, he's trying to keep you in the game.
The sucky part was trying to explain to my family why there wasn't a timeout taken and how are the Bears this bad. And the coach didn't seem to know what he was doing, according to my dad. And then he's like, why are we watching this? And I'm like, because it's on.
Even your dad doesn't watch a lot of football, right? Is that accurate? Yeah, I mean, and he... Even he sniffed out the incompetence.
He's a casual fan, and he'll always have, like, the Niners or the Chargers game on, you know, because he's on the West Coast. So that's usually it. Like, not as much. Well, and the Rams. He'll watch those three. But, like, this was a bridge too far to have to explain to my family on a holiday. Yeah. What happened while I was trying to be off but not off?
So two things about that last Detroit game. One, I did not watch the first half live.
