Well you got all the info. Everybody's healthy, everyone's ready to go. The bears have never felt better, looked better. Everything is smelling um I guess scuba gear for the freezing cold on uh Sunday, right? Everybody puts a nice little uh outfit on so they could swim in the Atlantic. Uh maybe they I don't know. How do you keep warm? I I think one of the hidden things here is that people need to know extreme weather. You can you can dehydrate from getting too warm. You gotta be careful. Yeah.
Oh yeah. Like this is uh This is a a tough challenge for uh everybody involved in playing in the game, anybody that wants to attend the game, um Be uh be careful out there and be prepared. You're absolutely right. Brad, in what way do you think the weather will have the biggest impact on this game? Well, I I just think it's You know, it's gonna be a an adjustment. It's gonna be an adjustment for everyone. Yeah, the Bears practiced outside yesterday at Hallett's Hall. It was probably twenty three degrees. Clear sun, not a lot of wind. In other words, it wasn't that bad. gonna be a heck of a lot worse. Uh, you would imagine Sunday night, so The wind can potentially uh be the biggest uh issue with the passing game.
And when it gets, you know, really, really cold I I I I believe it gets more difficult to throw the ball, but uh I mentioned at the beginning of the week Stafford had a five hundred and twenty yard game. Uh in twenty mile an hour wind at Lambeau Field. with a game time temp of about thirty uh earlier in his career. So Uh the and the E and the Rams uh played A uh Championship Eagles team pretty well last year in Philadelphia. In the snow. against a heck of a good defense. So um It's gonna be a factor, Dave. I I I wouldn't pin Uh, all my hope on the Bears winning the game on Uh LA's gonna freeze its ass off.
Right. You know, the Bears are gonna have to play. They're gonna have to pay play better on defense. We were talking about it uh earlier, some of the stuff that Den Dennis Allen had to say. Um he along with some of the stuff he said, he really did spend a minute praising Austin Booker and talked about his relentlessness. I think that Booker has improved as uh as the Bears have improved. I mean, that they have played a lot of consecutive games here. And I think when we talk about the uh the running game in particular, the fact that four of those players have played 14 consecutive games now and they'll be playing obviously um a a 15th one on Sunday, that that because the bywe Week was so early. It really did pay off.
But I just wonder how some of these veteran guys are holding up as we're getting. I mean, you know, it there's there's no lament about anything. You gotta win in the playoffs. I'm just wondering if uh if that element has maybe helped the rookie class to mature and uh and and maybe um been a little bit of a difficult difficulty on the offensive line particular.
Well we'll we'll have to see. You know, I talked to Dan Roshar about the uh running game taking a little bit of a hit Lately, you know, not a Not a huge hit because they've been in some games where It's been clear that They can create an edge for themselves. throw in the football but Uh he acknowledged
