My mom loved the Olive Garden, and she was first-generation Italian, and I never understood because the hardcore Italians look down their noses at the Americanized version of Italian food, but I think from her perspective, and she's been gone for 31 years now, but I think... From her perspective, it was just a sign of assimilation of the Italian culture into America that we got our own chain now. Forget about McDonald's and Burger King. We got our own chain of Italian food in the Olive Garden. So she loved that place.

Well, the Rams are in Hollywood and I do think they're applying a certain cinematic panache to this whole thing. I think they're milking every bit of intrigue that they can out of it. I don't think people are paying enough attention to it, whether they've assumed he's not gonna come back or they've just assumed he is. The drip drip doesn't seem to be as fascinating as it should be. And he's out there getting involved in it, posting things on social media that fuel speculation. He goes to the team's facility on Friday and works out because he wants to see what it feels like for his body after he works out in pads again. It's all pointing toward this. And maybe one strategic reason to not announce it to the world now,
