There was a June 1st deadline that was brought up as to what the team wanted to do. I think the Cubs cemented it with their sweep of the Mets. But listen to what J.P. Marossi had to say.
I do. And I'll add one more team to that list that I think has maybe snuck up on some people. The Cincinnati Reds. I thought they were going to be a much better team when this season started. They really have struggled over the last month. And I wonder, a pitcher like Andrew Abbott, who was an all-star a year ago, a really impressive lefty, with multiple years of control. He's almost like what Scooble was a couple years ago, but it's an even more obvious sell decision, in my opinion, because the rest of the division is so good. You're chasing four teams that are quality, in my opinion, and I include the Pirates in that conversation. So if you're just not going to make the playoffs this year and if you're a small market team and you're looking around and let's, again, let's assume the Tigers are going to play this thing out and be somewhat difficult to deal with,
