Perhaps my favorite game of the season, or at least the one that really changed how I felt about the team, was Mark's least favorite.

Are you going to Vegas on me? Vegas, baby. It is the 25-24 win over the Raiders where the Bears had to come back in the fourth quarter, scoring at that time nine points. You know, we've seen better this year. We've seen more. But Josh Blackwell blocking the field goal. And by the way, I'm just going to sneak preview with this, you guys. As much as I think Kairos Santos deserves credit, especially for his postseason performance, Josh Blackwell is my special teams MVP this year.

But for me, it's Josh Blackwell. getting the field goal block, and then for the Bears simply winning a game that they hadn't been able to win previously. How terrible they were in one-score games. To have it come down to that opportunity, and it's on the, well, quote, road, end quote, because let's face it, Vegas is pretty much just a more expensive home game for a lot of other teams that come into town. That was the one that really changed my mind about this team because they just didn't win those games. They would find a way to lose them previous to that. So that was it for me.
Just real quick on that game. Why I hated it is because of the 240 yards rushing through the Raiders. Although I can't do it.

I do look back on that game, though, with a little bit more fondly. Believe it or not, Layla. because of something that was sustainable in that game, Caleb did lead a drive with a minute 34 left in the game with DeAndre Swift ultimately getting the touchdown. So I will allow myself to look at that a little bit differently, but the point still stands. Marshall, would you like to give your biggest surprise or the game that changed your opinion of the Bears?
I also thought it was the Bears 25 to 24 win. It just happened to be the next one. It just happened to be the next one.
