The way this process worked, they used to have problems getting the players to vote because this is all player vote. And it's very simple. They get players to tell them, NFL Films does, who their top 20 players are. 1 through 20. Rank the top 20 players in the NFL. Now, a lot of this skews towards teammates or people at your position who you believe are one of the best 20 players in the NFL. And the way it works is if you rank somebody number one, that player gets 20 points. If you rank somebody number 20, that player gets one point. And you're just tabulating. They used to only get about 300 people that would vote out of all the people. There's a lot more than... you know, 300 people in the NFL, but now they get upwards of a thousand votes because they started actually going from facility to facility during the season to collect the votes.

Cause just waiting for them to show up and send off the votes was not working. I have been in the bears locker room multiple times when I have seen the person from the under, usually a very, very young person, uh, Comes into the locker room and is going locker to locker and dropping off the ballots. So he's more likely to be in a player's top 20 players in the league than not.
