I recently got passed up twice for promotions in the last eight months for a management position for my shift that I currently have been operating for eight years. Now, I realize that time doesn't mean shit.
It's the impact you make within that time. The first promotion, the person that got it was the favorite to get it, but never worked nighttime operations. The problem is that she never started that position because she just needed the manager title for another promotion.
