Changing Face of Communication – 2018 Trends and Predictions The advances in information, communication, and digitization technologies have transformed the way individuals and entities across nations: its government, industries, organizations, and academia (NGIOA) connects, communicates, and collaborates across cyberspace, geospace, and space (CGS). Today, technologies have come to rule and even dictate the terms on which communication is undertaken across NGIOA. So, when we, individually and collectively, are at the crossroads of major technological changes as we are now; where new communication technologies are constantly being unveiled and the older ones are constantly being modified or updated; it is important to understand and evaluate its impact on individuals and entities across NGIOA, trends across CGS and future predictions for humanity. Since relationships and results within, between, and across NGIOA depend on communication and connectivity, the existing and emerging communication channels across CGS, independently and collectively are playing a key role in shaping the very foundation and future of not only communication and connectivity but the sharing economy that the world is passionately trying to build. So, when we change the tools and technology, driver and nature of communication and connectivity, we are in essence changing the relationships of NGIOA and we are changing the results across CGS—thereby changing the very configuration of human culture, civilization, and fundamentals of society. His research explores how the speechwriting process inside the White House shapes the U.S. President’s speeches by tracing the public justification campaigns for four military interventions from 1950 to the early 2000s. Tudor has been awarded the Albert Gallatin Fellowship in International Affairs and the Bakala Foundation Scholarship to spend the 2017 – 2018 academic year as a visiting scholar in the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University. Tudor takes a special interest in the practical applications of his research for the political communication field. In 2013, he co-founded a digital start-up called GovFaces that enables cities, governments, and international organizations to carry out community engagement through scalable question-and-answer sessions. He recently explained the driving idea behind his work in a TEDx talk in Vienna called “Why politicians should only speak when asked.” In recognition of the positive impact of his work, Forbes Magazine named Tudor to Europe 30 under 30 lists for influential change-makers in the Law and Policy Sector in 2017. Tudor is a One Young World Peace Ambassador and an expert member of the Council of Europe’s incubator for participatory democracy.
