Chapter 1: What topics are covered in today's show?
breakfast with gary and tim the imar trade-off questions without notice for imar protecting tradies and builders for over 35 years call 13 imar to get covered today
Just been one of those shows today where you don't get to everything you'd like to get to. I've got a whole heap of stuff here that I wanted to speak about that we might have to... Save it. Save it for tomorrow, but I've got... Save it for tomorrow. And don't put that photo up.
I've told you... No, it's done. Sorry. I actually... No, you haven't.
Hey, hey, hey. You and I don't get too serious too often. That doesn't need to be going up. What? I'm sorry, it's too late. You won't do that.
It's too late because you know why I put it up there? Because I want feedback before nine o'clock. The photo of Gary in the all seasons calendar. I'll walk. I'm happy to walk. Okay, just walk this back then. Who is it that is now in the same frame as Bont and Nick Dacos?
No, I didn't say he is. I said should be at some stage in the next decade. Well, let's say some stage this year. Right now you're qualifying it. Yeah, but no, I didn't. Anyway, I watched him on the weekend. You were category before. Isaac Heaney's in that conversation. Of course he is. He's not the one I'm talking about.
Jason Horne-Francis has got every single part of his game that should have him in this conversation at some stage in the next, let's say, 12 months. Because he came off an interrupted pre-season and they've had to sort of nursing back, play forward, put him in the middle. At his best, as he was in that third quarter against St Kilda.
You looked at that and if you were down from Mars and you went to the footy over the weekend and that was the only quarter you watched, you'd say that's the best player in the game.
He looked like he was on another level, didn't he?

Chapter 2: What makes Jason Horne-Francis a player to watch?
Well, we do our top 10 at the end of the month, so why are you asking me on the photo?
Is Sam Darcy, I know, but is Sam Darcy still in the top 10? No. Is he injured at the moment, Sam Darcy? I think... Because I'm wondering why they wouldn't push him more into the ruck, particularly the other night, unless he's got some form of an injury.
I think he could be very... safe in saying without knowing that there is very good reason why he didn't go into the ruck when Tim English went down and that might suggest why he's had a bit of a slower start to the season
A lot of people are seeing that photo that's been put up. You haven't put it up at all. You have not put it up.
And if you have, there's going to be some blowback for you if there has, because you don't, and I don't put stuff up of you. I'm not on social media for that very good reason. So there you go.
Okay, so I've been slathered for a week. I'm allowing anything that you've got that you want to put up of me in the next week, you can do so. Chris is in Essendon. Good morning, Chris. He's been hanging on the line for a long time.
That's all right. Good morning, Gary and Tim. I'm just wondering why the AFL doesn't go down the path of getting ex-AFL players, whether they're people that never made it onto... you know, to a long career in the AFL to be the umpires and hire them as full-time. Like, I mean, there's no better people than players who would understand the pace of play.
Some people that aren't working in other industries, make them full-time. And, yeah.
There's one out there at the moment, though, Chris, Lee Fisher, who played AFL football. He's a very good, well-credentialed umpire now. There's been others that have been umpires. Jordan Bannister. Jordan Bannister, the former SM Melbourne player. He was an umpire for a period of time as well. So, I...

Chapter 3: Why is Charlie Curnow's goal-kicking technique questioned?
I think that's right. Can someone tell me if that's right?
I know you're a big fan of Tommy Papley and I am too. Do you reckon he's made some adjustments to his game? In as much as if he saw the goals and he thought that he was a good chance within 50 metres of goal, anywhere within 50 metres of goal, he was very blinkered and single-minded about what he was going to do.
I've just noticed that there's been a subtle change to him looking for other players and kicking the ball to other positions inside 50. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm wrong with this, but I think he's become ā More selfless than what he has in the past. And maybe he's putting a higher premium on a goal or system than what he's ever done.
You may very well be right, Wisp. He's a very fine player either way. Johnny Mack, why did we play the stuff from the shows on the Monday night, including the agenda setters? Well, in that case, because we wanted to just clarify a point. So the umpires get a bit of a belting for not talking to Zach Butters about the report because Zach wanted to talk to him. They're not allowed to.
And I didn't know that. But we thought we'd share it with you. So there you go, Johnny Mac. Thanks for your very kind feedback, too. We're glad that you enjoyed the show. We're here for Dexian. Well, have you seen Swanee doing a little cameo with Dan Gorinch? He's... employed by the AFL.
I know they employed him for the State of Origin game, and from a social media point of view, they may have him on retirement.
No, I think he does more than that. I think he's on some sort of a contract with the AFL. But I don't know. You've got to catch up with that bit. So he's sort of sitting there with Swanee during gather round and just having a little conversation on the sidelines. Nice stuff. He's got a nice way about him, Swanee, hasn't he? Which Swanee are you talking about?
I'm talking about the boss of the competition, Greg Swann.
