Something I've begun to notice quite recently, I think over the last few weeks, especially maybe months, where we've had all of this intermittent shower and sun outside, which is really starting to see things bloom and all sorts of plants arising seemingly out of nowhere. I know in our garden we've We've had certain small bushels and clematis plants and this particular honeysuckle bush that was rather unassuming for some time suddenly just burst into life and I remember waking up one morning and coming into the garden, just to do a little round. We don't have a large garden at all, by any means, but when I wake up early with my son, I like to grab him in my arms and, almost as a part of the daily routine, if the weather is fair enough, just have a little wander around the garden.

And I remember waking up one morning and noticing that this honeysuckle bush had just burst into life and was so long and dangling and in a way that I hadn't noticed before. You know, it made me feel like this entirely new plant had suddenly arrived in our garden. And like I say, we've been seeing a lot of growth like that recently. And in walking around about town, around my neighborhood, in the countryside and in the forest, I've noticed that there is a tendency of poppy flowers to have started to grow. But what I notice is that not always, but sometimes and frequently enough for me to have noticed it, that there will be a single poppy growing by itself in a seemingly peculiar location.
So I'll see one just growing by itself. in the grass by the undergrowth of a tree, perhaps, and it is surrounded by plethora other kinds of flowers, all of which seem to gather together. But this poppy is singular and alone, and it grows tall and proud, And the other day I saw one growing from the base of a brick wall in an alleyway around the streets of my home.
