But you s you survived the great flood of twenty twenty six, the great Connecticut flood of twenty twenty six, they're calling it.
It was absolutely incredible. I did one, I didn't know what a rain bomb was. So I I experienced that. Two, flash floods. Well,
that's because that's a fake term that got invented last year. I feel like
meteorological. I'm just gonna go ahead while you're talking. Can be able to search Connecticut floods to see if this is an actual news thing or if it's just you experiencing a rainstorm for the first time since leaving California. I know. Camille sent me
videos of what his neighborhood looked like, and it was insane. I mean there was Yeah. They you guys got like seven inches of rain
in a day or something. In in a matter of hours. I think it was maybe four or five hours. It was totally.
I'm going to speak at a synagogue in Connecticut in a few weeks. And uh the I had a meeting with the the people who run the synagogue and asked invited me to come speak and talk about Tangle and um we got on the call and it was like we spent the first fifteen minutes of the call just talking about the storms in Connecticut because they were like they both ol older women both just said they'd never seen anything like it. Um Okay, this looks real. Looks real.
It looks real. It's like a real storm that you saw. Yeah. Okay. As much as I love dismissing the things that they say. I'm not sure.
No, it was very it was very real. We experienced the the flash flooding. It was nuts. I left my neighborhood. I tried to re-enter and it was impossible. When I turned back around, it was impossible to get to ninety-five. We ended up just kind of being stranded in the middle of town for a while. It was nuts.
Well, uh, we're here now. You survive the Connecticut floods, but we're all gonna die in a few months anyway, thanks to artificial intelligence. So nothing matters. Um yeah, enjoy your survival for the brief moment you have it. Uh that that is the the big main story that I wanna jump into today to kick us off and get us started. We obviously covered this a little bit earlier this week, and we you know, we wrote about in the newsletter. In the podcast, Camille Foster had his debut, I think, take writing in the newsletter. I know you've written in the newsletter before, but I think that was the first time you you authored a take about your perspective on the kind of doomsdayer view of where artificial intelligence is heading, which had all been kicked off by this kid, guy, kid.
