And sometimes people will be like, oh, I wish they would just get along. And you say that, but then it would be a boring show.
It would be. It would be. Then it just becomes, I don't know, HGTV.
But there is something about like, so we get some backstory in this episode and we'll go through it all in one time. But like, we have a couple of flashbacks from Madison, right?
That sort of like give her- Illuminate a bit of a- The bigger picture as to her relationship with her parents.
Yeah, because there's a mom and a dad, and then there's also an ex-boyfriend.

This continues to be the story that I'm sure she tells herself. And it sort of coincides with her wedding day, with like, what should be the most... important day of her life thus far, minus probably having the children, obviously. Joyful, yeah. Yeah, and I think it's sort of illuminating the doubts, the deep-seated doubts that a lesser evolved human would probably not think to have. Yeah. And it just made me not to, I mean, sorry, we're like taking off now with a bullet, but like, it made me really realize and think back to the evolution of this character in particular.
And we even see in this particular episode, so the day this ex-boyfriend in this flashback breaks up with her.

she immediately starts binging, going on like a binge, and then it sort of leads her into being in this recovery group for Overeaters Anonymous or whatever we're saying, where she ends up meeting Kate. And to think back on who that woman was when we first met her in the pilot and how we all kind of like rolled her eyes as the collective in the room did, like, what is this woman have any business doing in this room with us? to where she is in this particular episode is really astounding and is a testament to Kate as an actress and the writing and where they've sort of allowed this character to grow that we all, you know, love her and are rooting for her and by extension are rooting for her and Kevin and their family to sort of see themselves into this next chapter of their lives.
