And her um her title was My Cheating Husband Turned Into My Stalker. She was episode five. So Emily, let's recap. She met her future husband in college, where they dated briefly before, losing contact for several years. And they reconnected in two thousand and eighteen. Uh within a year they were engaged and Emily moved in with him at uh his family's pub. Living together revealed deeper issues, mismaxed schedules, emotional distance and a lack of intimacy. Beyond the physical. And Emily noticed changes in his behaviour. He became angry, controlling, and paranoid. And that left her feeling really isolated and silenced.

This marriage quickly deteriorated and sadly she ended up having a miscarriage. And it was there that his lack of support and continued fixation on his former affair partner became um unbearable. So Emily escaped, she went abroad for a month. She began to regain her confidence. And on her return, his controlling behaviour escalated into stalking, harassment, and he tried to damage her reputation locally. And and it was because he couldn't handle the fact that she had left. Even after their separation, he continued to follow and monitor her, forcing Emily to involve the police. After years of manipulation, betrayal and harassment, Emily found the courage to file for divorce and reclaim her independence.
And she's since built a new chapter in her life with a partner who she loves, respects, and values her for who she truly is. I mean, is this this was a shocker. Um Anna, this one really got to me actually. How how did you

Yeah, yeah. It was a it was a really toxic uh situation that she was in. Um quite desperate, quite scary actually.

So I think they must have sort of been keeping an eye on his profile and messaged me randomly out of the blue one day and said, Oh, I didn't realise that you'd set a your own page. And I said, I don't know what you mean. So they sent me a screenshot of a profile that was linked to his with explicit photos of me, luckily not my face, that I had not consented to be posted at all.
