Full Episode
Hey, everybody. Welcome to Friday and the Daily AI Show. It is November 21st, 2025, and this is episode 600 for the Daily AI Show. I'm very excited to see Jude in the, or the simulated Jude in the chat. And this is, so far, the very first single-person Daily AI Show. When we started... And we started in August of 2023, I think has to be.
We had six or seven co-hosts because we knew that not everybody would be able to be on the show. And it is something that has been coming for a long time that there's just a lot of busy people. So we're hoping somebody else will drop in. I have to say that what's been on my mind is all of the great examples of Nana Banana Pro.
And I suspect they did some of that on the show yesterday, but I do want to show, let's see if I can get this. The image didn't come out correctly, but you can see on this page, let me grab it. The New York Times is celebrating us on, yes, our 600th episode, Making Sense of AI. That, of course, is not us.
This is who the New York Times or Gemini Pro Nanobanana feels would be the good, the proper... Yeah, the proper co-host, that's sort of funny. But anyway, I am interested in how people are experiencing Nano Banana or these new Gemini 3 Pro models. It does seem that this has been one that is helpful. Ooh, Andy's here. Awesome. Let me shift our visuals.
It does seem that Nano Banana Pro, they've been talking about Gemini 3 and models that have the ability to, there we go. Now we're in slightly better. Hi, Andy, how are you doing?
Good. I had trouble getting in this morning.
Oh, no, I'm terribly sorry. So we had our first single person daily show for like.
I thought we were about to have our first no show.
Yeah, that's tricky. So anyway, I believe Gemini 3 regular was stated to be the first model that had been trained multimedia from the beginning, which means that it wasn't an LLM that then was given the ability to understand images, it was given everything up front and then was able to create itself. But it does seem that the pro version is much more that.
