There's not a lot of water cooler talk, but there's a lot of protestation through internet chatter.

And, you know, America has not always been on the up and up when it comes to situations like this in the past. You look at the Iraq war. And yet there was... at least an expectation that America would make an argument towards the better angels, that for democratic norms, for the safety of the people.
There was an understanding at that time, even though tomfoolery was at play, and there were oil companies that were making a killing, and there was a lot of things at play outside of the general welfare of the Iraqi people and the Americans at the time. There was still an understanding that the

Yes. And yet you fast forward to here and the old Congress folks are still playing that game. They feel like they have to reach to democracy and what have you. But Donald Trump gives it all away. And I think that's what's always been so interesting.
compelling about this this Trump administration is he doesn't feel that need to to be kind in those moments that even if a leader wasn't earnestly kind they thought they had to be performatively kind because that is what the office engendered and was what was necessary. Donald Trump feels zero need to do that. And so in some ways, it's believe Donald Trump.
That's been a winning strategy for him, so why would he stop? He's going in there to take the oil. And you're going to have some minions tell him, no, no, it's for democracy. And then he'll undercut all of them with one press conference. Yes. So in that one, believe your eyes. He's telling you. He's always telling you what he's going to do. You don't have to read between the lines.
Just turn off Fox News when they talk to somebody in Congress. Because they're spinning the old game, and Donald Trump is playing the new one.
There was a small story off Venezuela that I don't know if you saw, which was, I guess, the betting market. I don't know if it was Polymarket or Kalshi or whatever. One of these betting markets had a bet of whether the U.S. would invade Venezuela. And a lot of people had bet yes. And when it happened, thought they had won a lot of money.

Chapter 3: What are the implications of RFK Jr.'s new food pyramid?
That stays. All right.
Every minute precious on the pre-cap. We're going to need to cut it for time. RFK's new food pyramid, of course, has moved meats. I guess red meat being as important to the top of the pyramid, he's inverted it. Red meat is now as important to ingest as fruit and vegetables.
To be clear, I'm always confused by pyramids. Yes. They're a wonderful structure. I'm not anti-pyramid. But I don't fully understand. We work our way up a pyramid.

I'm pro-pyramids. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't like the ways in which they were constructed. Yes, of course. I'm union labor when it comes to pyramids. You would be a fair pharaoh.
I would be the fairest of pharaohs. Fairest of pharaohs.
Fairest of pharaohs. Okay, good. And I don't even need a pyramid, you know? Just a small, some altar. I don't know. It'd be very, I'm Midwestern in my Pharisees' wishes.
But when I look at it. A Midwestern pharaoh.
Classic Midwestern pharaoh.
