All America, all the time. Sit down, buckle up, and get ready for the Dan Bongino Show.
Oh, it was a busy week. I am so glad to be back in the studio with you all. And I'm not gonna do a big long weekend or week update with you, but I will say this, just for those of you out there who probably already know this in advance, you know. It's really difficult sometimes to not, you know, to to to lose the kind of forest uh f uh or or to not lose the forest for the tree. You want to focus on like what's right in front of you, the tree. Don't worry about the whole forest all at one time is what I'm getting at. And it's difficult to do that because there's so much going on in the forest. It's easy to get distracted and you're worried about what's gonna happen tomorrow and next week and next year and all this and what happened yesterday.
I am not uh it's not a book club here. However, that guy Eck or Toll, whatever you think from wherever, he wrote that book, uh, The Power of Now. And forget the book for a second, but the essence of what he's saying is true. You live in the now. Yesterday or Already happened. So there's nothing you can do about it. And tomorrow hasn't happened yet. So you worrying about tomorrow forfeiting the now. Is insane. I say that because this weekend I had some family in town. And uh was it uh Saturday night? We're all sitting around sharing a glass of wine with my uh my sister-in-law, my niece and nephew, and my wife and my daughter, and we're listening to music and we're watching the Texas Ohio steak. I'm not a fan of either team, so it didn't matter to me.
My nephew's a huge Texas fan, watches this. Big comeback. So for all you uh you Texas fans, you know, hook 'em, you did a good job. Ohio State fans didn't really work out. But it was just like, this is the stuff that really matters. That really matters. Chilling and hanging out with your family and like just having a good time for a good time's sake. I got a lot to talk about today. Someone in the chat asked me right before the show. I saw it, Dan, what was the most important story or is the most important? Story of our time. That's the title of the show today. I'll answer it for you 'cause I hate teases. Artificial intelligence, folks. We're going to do a what we always do show today. We're going to apply the Bon Gino rule.
Which is we're gonna take twenty-four to seventy-two hours to process everything that was said over the weekend from one side. We're all gonna die. to the other side saying, hey, nothing to worry about here. We're not doing any of that. We're gonna split the middle. And we're gonna do what we've always done. We're not falling for the current thing. We're gonna hold. And we're gonna discuss this because it is the single most important technological development of our time, up there with electricity, flight, nuclear power, maybe more powerful than all of them. By the end of today's show, I've got a lot to talk about. I think you're gonna be comfortable with where we are. But we're not getting into doomerism, and I'm not getting into overly optimistic stuff either.
Reason matters. Now I'm gonna give you a pretty famous quote at the beginning of the show too, and this will all make sense. Some of you may have heard the quote before, but it sums this whole thing up. Hey, if you're serious about preparedness like I am, you're gonna want to head over to preparewithdan.com right now.
