I asked Roy for a big sound, and when he thinks of sound, he thinks in hockey. Like he doesn't think in the other languages. He doesn't think in the other sports. I asked him for something big. That is a big sound. I get goosebumps every time there's a home goal scored and that sound is played. I feel the energy of that in hockey the way that I don't. You saw how cool Broncos football looked yesterday with everyone there wearing orange. There's nothing that moves me energetically more than that sound with a home crowd.

I think they're mocking Jeremy there for being someone who enjoys using 70 words when he can use just one. But as it relates to Ross Tucker specifically, I don't know if you have heard him on these broadcasts. I've heard him on the radio. I've heard him on television. He's got a great combination of talking English. in football, and then explaining football very basically so that he broadens the net on everyone he's talking to, so he'll explain very quickly and efficiently what something as simple as the A-gap is, but also he has such monster enthusiasm for what it is that he's watching, and it makes him a little different than most broadcasters. Like, I... I know that Romo's popularity was because of how excited he would get.
Gruden's popularity, how excited he would get. John Madden's popularity. You could hear how much they loved everything about football in every sentence that came out of their mouth. And Ross Tucker deserves all of the bigger assignments that he's now getting because he's fun to listen to. And he just, he speaks in very... easy-to-understand, tight language that would appeal to anybody.
