I would say Spain probably goes back a little bit deeper than France, who's really been on this tear since 98 when they won it at home. And then they have a chance today to get to their third straight World Cup final. Hit the pause button on that for a second. Think about that. We're not talking about third straight Super Bowl appearance or third straight NBA finals appearance where it's in consecutive years.

And then what Spain has meant to the sport for so long, yet they've only won World Cup, one World Cup. It's crazy to think 2010 is the only time they've won a World Cup. This is only their second ever semifinal. game but you know the sport is is in their dna much like i think you know a lot of the south american countries whether it's the uruguays or the colombians or argentina or brazil where you are you you come out of the womb and this is what you do you are a soccer fan you care about your sport you know the players um you love them when they're on your club team you hate them when they're playing against you but when they're representing your colors you lean all in um i i cannot wait to get out to the stadium today for spain and france
