Suzie Bates is the GOAT of New Zealand women’s cricket. And just an awesome all-round human. She first made the New Zealand team in 2006 when she was 19. Now she is 36 and still playing like the absolute boss that she isShe’s also a bloody talented basketballer and went to the Olympics in 2008 playing for the NZ side- we talk about that experience including how she ended up partying with the USA “Redeem team” including LeBron and Kobe.We chat about her alter-ego "Betsy" who comes out after a couple of chardonnays, what Mick Jagger WASN’T wearing when she met him in his dressing room and much much more.I was left with the impression that she has such a growth mindset that she doesn’t take a lot of time to pause and reflect on all the cool stuff she has achieved and experienced in her life.
