I know that you're in the fight now to figure out what happens with the funding of the Department of Homeland Security. But that is a real question about the election, election integrity come 2026.

Know that the president is going to try to do everything he can to alter the electoral landscape to try to prevent there from being a free and fair election. Because as we've seen over the last 14 months, Democrats have won every significant election now for 14 consecutive months, including most recently in states like Texas and Louisiana, that they are frightened to death. because they know they're about to go down in flames electorally. Now, in the midst of this funding fight, amongst the many demands that we've put on the table, and we believe, look, ICE is out of control. They need to be reined in. Taxpayer dollars should be used to make your life more affordable, the lives of the American people more affordable, not to brutalize or kill them, as was done with Renee Nicole Good and Alex Preddy.
We have indicated that sensitive locations have to be off limits. And those sensitive locations include schools, houses of worship, hospitals, and we have explicitly now added polling locations because we know that there's a possibility that Donald Trump will try to unleash parts of DHS to try to intimidate voters from coming out to exercise their franchise. We won't let that happen.

And I would say that many people believe that it may be one of the most important things that we need to make sure we trust is reliable and that when it gets to election day that we've been proactive to make sure that we have the right people voting, electing the right leaders to lead this country through the days that we have, knowing that people can trust it.
