did not want to be there, but was felt like I was really stuck there and then decided to just purge and start over. And I went through what they call Swedish death cleaning. It's where you clean out your life according to whether or not you think the person who's gonna inherit it all even wants it. And so um I d I've done podcasts on all of it. If you want to go back and and check those out, I think they're worth listening to because th I learned some valuable lessons along the way. And That was a lot. Just doing that alone. Just imagine doing that for your entire house and your entire life and your storage unit and your garage. What I had a storage unit because I had a big clinical practice that I had shut down during COVID.

So I had all that to go through. I mean, I just had so much to go through and it was so much emotion. So that was a lot. Then I moved, left my entire family in Oregon, besides my husband, got to Arizona, um, had at that point. bought a new house, bought a building, so the financial stress was you know, was real. It was there and there was a lot hanging on me. And got here got really sick over Christmas, like really sick, ended up on antibiotics. It completely destroyed my gut. My gut's already a very persnickety uh region of my body. And so I went into what I think was C. difficile. I think I ended up with C difficile after that. So I was very ill. And Got that under control, not handled well, but under control.

Uh my weight at this point was actually starting to come down because I had moved. I was really enjoying the sun in the winter. I was and having a great winter. I was having so much fun. I could not believe how warm and wonderful it is here in Arizona in the winter. And I was not in the rain. I was not in the dreary, gloomy, doomy, misery. hell that is the Pacific Northwest winters and I was feeling pretty good, you know, other than like getting really sick in December. But I think that was just my immune system crashing out. And then I had to move my daughter here in February. And that was a whole undertaking and it I found myself back in Oregon for several weeks in some pretty miserable weather, did not want to be there, and had to help her pack up all her stuff, which was like moving a whole, you know, additional household.

So that it was stressful. And I got her here the end of February, beginning of March. I guess we got here at the beginning of March. We got here, we spent about a week running around trying to get her house settled. I had bought her a house, so now I've got more financial stress. Uh bought a house for my family actually. And get her here, get her settled. We take, you know, a week or two to kind of get her in and get furniture and get bed her bed and, you know, everything set up. Receive the pod, unpack it. And We end up both getting really sick with s I think norovirus or something. We both got it. We both got taken out, you know, the whole running out of both ends. Sorry, T M I I know, but That was not fun and my gut really couldn't take a second hit like that.
