What simple wellness habits does the host recommend at the start of the episode?
Welcome to the bonus episode of The Good Glow brought to you with Thanks to Centrum Multibautics Complete. If you've listened to the podcast for a while, you'll know I'm always trying to make wellness less complicated. I think there was a time when I believed I had to do all of the things all of the time, but these days I'm much more interested in habits that I can actually stick to. The big thing for me is when I can understand why I'm doing something, I'm far more likely To keep doing it. Centrum Multibiotics Complete is part of my morning routine. It's a daily food supplement that combines 18 scientifically selected strains with eight strains for my gut with 18 essential vitamins and minerals in one capsule.
It even includes vitamin D for normal immune function and vitamin B12 to support energy release. One capsule once a day, that's it. I can't overcomplicate my days, but looking after myself is a huge priority. For me, it's the little things that I do consistently that make the biggest difference. You can find Centrum Multiproducts Complete in Tesco Dunstores and Boots in store and online. Okay, so we are here the day after what we've been calling all year Oprah Day. Um we went to see Oprah Oprah. Did you not know that?
You c have you been calling it Oprah Day?
Th me and the Soul Sisters.
Oh.
Um so Oprah Day is over and we will tell you all about it. It's been a really interesting week. I went, I suppose, from one extreme in Marbella to uh the most amazing experience in the three arena. with Oprah on Monday. And I think I did more crying on Monday from the moment I opened my eyes until the moment I went to sleep than I have done in a a very long time.
Because you had a terrible time in Barbia or?
Uh no, not at all. But just I just felt very emotional. I don't know why I felt I don't know, I was I think I was nervous to to go see Oprah 'cause sometimes I'm afraid of unlocking things within me, you know, and I keep everything kind of very tightly zipped up s from time to time. And so when I know that there's change or a big release coming, I get a bit scared.
Hmm. Do you think those that there's a fear there that you were like closing that loop or like closing a chapter on the Oprah thing?
Mm. That's a good question. Maybe it kind of felt like a phallosterical moment, maybe.
Yeah. That's what I mean. Like you're like, you know, this y you sort of like we've talked about doing the Oprah thing or like trying to get to see Oprah at some point for like nine years, basically. So it was like closing the loop on it and it's like not that that's come to an end now, but there's a l element of finality there maybe that you didn't want to didn't want to face.
I think she brings up so much of what I know to be true in my heart and soul. I I wasn't even disappointed that I wasn't getting a podcast. It never dawned on me to ask her to do my podcast. I was so lucky to meet her for I'd say a minute after the show and be in her presence, just me and her. But I didn't want anything from her. All I wanted to do was say thank you.
So let's go back a bit and talk about the moment that I flukely caught on camera where Oprah came on stage. What happened in your head in that moment, like what were you thinking? 'Cause like we were like ten rows from the front, right? So we were pretty close, like like you were literally a stone's throw from Oprah.
Yeah. I think um I was I was so confused on Monday 'cause I I was having so many emotions and I'd spent the weekend dancing with the girls drinking rose. We went to loads of gorgeous restaurants and we ended up in a nightclub. We were dancing, we were having the best time. And so on Monday I felt extra fragile. So I couldn't I couldn't make sense of how I was feeling and because of what Reason. You know, am I am I so upset because of Oprah? Yeah, I'm Am I so upset, you know, right? Something else? Is it like the the weekend? Like what is going on with me. So I just had to surrender and just
So when she came on stage, uh everyone stood up and we were all cheering and you like sc screamed, right? 'Cause we uh have this in video, so we have to share this video 'cause I know we didn't share the last one we said we were gonna share.
