Oh, boy. Special guest. Holy cow. Our bookers working overtime. Shout out to Dave for landing the legendary Clint Dempsey. Oh, my gosh. One of the best U.S. men's national players of all time. He's too humble to talk about it, but he's now joined the dark side. He's in the media promoting the Ligas Cup, the battle between the MLS... and Liga MX. Obviously, I was hyping NACOXA and Liga MX. I was just texting guys in the ownership group. Ozil, the legendary Turkey player, not on the text chain, but Clint Dempsey, let's welcome you into the show. First of all, hey, man, it's an honor to talk to you. Obviously, you moved to a new phase in your career as an Uber driver, right, for your young children? Yes, sir.
That's pretty much what I'm doing. I got six kids running back and forth to practice. And I guess it's payback from way back what my parents used to do for me. But that's what it's all about, man. Helping your kids try to chase their dreams and see them grow up. Yeah. Let's start with the World Cup, which just finished record setting viewership. Incredible tournament as a member of the media. How different was it for you having played in the World Cup? Yeah, I mean, it was great. Obviously, I missed being on the pitch and the excitement around the World Cup and playing in those big games. I got to cover it in Qatar, but it was different to be on home soil and doing it because I remember full circle moment, 94 World Cup, watching as a kid, first believing, wow, maybe I could do this one day.
Then now seeing where the game's gone. how passionate our fan base was, and how the game has really grown here in the States and how the U.S.
