Mm. Welcome back to the Richard Chairman Podcast and what a game on Monday night. I thought this division matchup would be closer than it was, but Patrick Mahomes and obviously the new edition K9 dominated this game. The Kansas City Chiefs and Spags defense looked phenomenal. You wondered what they would look like when they lose Jalen Watson and Trent McDuffie. Two really good corners and they're going with a very young secondary. What would they look like after that? Well, the answer is they still look damn good, and that's for sure. Monsor Delaney, who has a pick, his third play of the game, gets injured later on, but Noel Williams looked really good, just aggressive. Every time I I looked up, he was just jumping off the tape in the run game, in the pass game.
uh forced a couple of penalties. They were sticky in coverage. They were putting pressure on Bonex all game long. They held the Broncos to two of twelve on third down. When you're not executing on third down, it's really tough to win these ball games. But I didn't think they would run as much as they did. I I think they ran almost The first They ran nine times in the first 10 plays, and you knew they were were gonna try to keep the ball out of Patrick Mahomes' hands, kind of keep him out of danger, let him kind of work his legs back into football, you know, and and not just put the game on his shoulders. And Kenneth Walker gives them a bit the ability to do that. He had twenty three carries for 173 yards and a sixty yard touchdown.
