Yeah, so um sort of like the day before I had just started a new job and I was feeling really sick and I'd sort of put it down to not eating lunch and I was like I'll just go home and like sleep it off. Um and I sort of just it was kind of like just feeling like slightly nauseous and had a bit of a headache. And went to bed and just sort of woke up and it all happened. I sorta just felt like I was gonna throw up. And it was like a really like intense, sort of like nauseous feeling. Um and like ran to the bathroom and I like don't really remember a lot of what came after that. Um but yeah, he just sort of like came out.

What was James’s reaction when he first learned he was going to be a dad?
Well none that I could like put down to being pregnant. I was sort of like thinking back I was like, oh, like I've maybe felt sick or like I like generally have really bad back pain, but I guess like if I thought back maybe it was like worse in that time. So it's like only like thinking back after the fact. But um
certainly didn't put on any any weight or anything.
Yeah, I put on like three kilos, which is what Hudson weighed. His exact
weight. Could you talk us through what it was like seeing Hudson for the first time for you?
Yeah, it was weird because I was like, I'm never gonna have kids, like I'm gonna have this crazy, like wildly single life and like travel heaps and not have anything that was like tying me down. And I also like wasn't really into kids like I w wasn't really like affectionate with them when I like I have cousins and I'm not really like wasn't crazy about like Playing with them and stuff. And when we were in the ambulance the um ambulance people were like, Oh here, like do you wanna hold him?
