Yeah, just uh unfortunately didn't do enough in the second half to win the game. Specifically in the fourth quarter, uh where you kinda need a play, a stop, a kick you know, whatever it is in all three phases. Unfortunately we had uh uh too many blunders where you know, we missed the on special teams, we missed the field goal and then we obviously had the uh kickoff return where we we we kinda stepped outside and now we got the ball in the twenty. Um Um uh defensively couldn't get off the grass on on third down, we couldn't get enough pressure on the quarterback. Um, you know, allowed way too many, you know, easy downs for them, I thought. And then offensively we just didn't make a play, right? We just didn't make a play.

I didn't make a good enough call, whatever the situation was. Disappointing. Uh I'm proud of our team in terms of the effort. I didn't think that that was uh an issue, but um and I don't think we let our foot off the gas in terms of the way that we were calling it or the way that we were operating. Uh we just gotta find a way to make a play.
You know, it's interesting because sitting on the sideline, it did seem like this was more us beating ourselves as opposed to them winning. And it's all the things that we always talk about, turnovers, big plays allowed, kicking game errors and all those things. So out of this, what lessons can we take to make the team better going forward?

Yeah, I mean I think Look, it's you're in a you're in a great atmosphere and we are I think the big the a big part was putting the n not a nail on the coffin 'cause it's the first drive of the third quarter, but when we don't get a touchdown on that drive, I think that just pulled a little bit of wind out of us in ways where you got an opportunity to go up seventeen three. Not that that I mean there's too much time to to feel great, but You can maybe make them throw it a little bit more, put put a little bit more of pressure on them. We didn't ever really put the pressure on them, especially in the second half. And so great learning op for us. I mean, at the end of the day, it's a sixty-minute football game.
We have to go execute better for sixty minutes. We gotta coach it better.
How will the Jaguars prepare and adjust before facing New England?
Um and we gotta execute it better. But I didn't think we protected great, especially um early on. We were getting hit quite often. Often too too much uh leakage and and we gotta look at hey, are we uh protection wise, fundamentals, techniques, but great learning op
What did you tell the team after the game?
Yeah, I mean it's obviously week two guys, right? It's an unfortunate deal, but we don't have enough time here. We got a damn good football team coming into uh to Jacksonville this weekend. We gotta get this film watched on the plane, get it washed, get it looked at, get back in the building and get back to work on Wednesday.
What is the outlook for Jacksonville’s bounce‑back against the Patriots?
I mean that's really the the the only thing we can do. These guys will obviously be in tomorrow, but we won't practice and we hit the grass on Wednesday. Wednesday for practice for New England. We gotta get runny rolling. And hey, look, it it's never easy to lose, especially when you walk in expecting to win. That's what we expect. But uh a great opportunity for us to respond.
