I was just making a quick decision. I saw them go to cover two and I thought we'd have the sideline shot to Parker uh between the corner and safety and uh he did a good job. He carried him and so right when I let it go I saw him keep running and turn his eye so I didn't have a great feeling right when I let it go. But um yeah, just trying to take a shot there and and um get one to Parker there on third down and didn't go our way and uh definitely want that one back. Uh it's a week two there's a lot left, but to be up thirteen or two down the road and not finish it off, how how disappointing is it?
Definitely disappointing. I felt like we, you know you know, played the opposite way in the second half as we did in the first half. We played complimentary and uh played really well off the momentum that our defense was creating and some big red zone stops that they got and I thought we took advantage of some of those. Um obviously it was it was tough sledding for us on offense the entire game, but it felt like we made more plays in the first half and were able to sustain some drives and get points. had the big touchdown drive and then we were able to get a field goal before half that was really uh really big and then we got a field goal right at uh the beginning of the you're good. Beginning of the second half.
So Um, but even on that one, y we gotta be able to score a touchdown in the red zone to start the second half and um you know, you look at the end of the game, all those things matter and we just didn't make enough plays, you know, the back half of the second half.
It's not able to grab the momentum after that interception and kind of wrestle it back from them. How disappointing is that she hasn't been able to do it for a while.
Yeah, you know, it was just like like I said, with the momentum in the second half it felt like you know, the interception and then they scored. Um And then we didn't we did we weren't able to capitalize and the field goal also is like those three things happen right in a row and as a team we just gotta be better at um you know, being able to kinda gain the momentum back when when something doesn't go right and You know, for me, obviously you can't turn the ball over in in a crucial situation there on third down and give 'em good field position. So it starts with me. Um you gotta limit those turnovers and not give 'em good field position and an extra possession. So I gotta be better and and we gotta be better as a team of just bouncing back after something maybe doesn't go our way, which I thought we did a good job in first half and uh we just gotta continue to learn and and improve.
um their pass rush. Did they did they throw some different looks at you? How much did the crowd always have to play with that? Yeah, I mean obviously it's a loud environment.

Um so we knew that coming in. I thought there was You know, in these games you're always gonna have some plays where you're down on the play clock and you gotta hurry and go and I thought we managed some of those well at some of the other ones we didn't. You know, we lined up wrong a couple of times where we had to call some timeouts, which w can't happen and we gotta be sharper getting in and out of the huddle. Um and then You know, I thought as far as what they did, it wasn't anything that surprised us. I thought they they played really good uh up front. You know, they got after us a little bit and I thought we um played on our heels heels a little bit and we need to be a little bit better to start the game and um finding some finding some completions and finding some momentum early.
I felt like they kinda got after us early and we had to settle in a little bit later than we wanted to.
Yeah. How important you gotta get 'em going a little bit more than that.
Yeah, I think just find consistency in the run game.
