So you had a little bit of time to kind of reflect on if you got one game under your belt, how do you feel kind of moving forward? Is that kind of performance you were looking for starting to get?

Uh yeah. I think that um the guys came out and tried to do what we asked them to do in terms of starting fast, played some complimentary football, which I also uh was harping on, taking advantage of obviously the opportunities that we had on with some of the turnovers. Was it perfect? No, uh by any means, but a lot to clean up and coach off of, some technique and a couple of things that we need to continue to to work on and coach on, but I was pleased with their uh energy, the way that they executed some situations, um, and jumped out to a fast start, which is something that we've really been harping on.

I think they played great. Um, you know, a ton to to work on, but like Bork, you really look at that whole, I think Bork played the m most of any rookie tight end, I think, in the NFL, and played a ton of snaps, did a lot of really good things in the run game, um, you know, was good to get uh kind of foyer out of there in the fourth quarter and and got Branson a ton of reps. So Caleb Ransaw played his first uh real NFL experience game in a in a regular season and he did some nice things. So um it was definitely good to get a bunch of those guys reps. I think they handled the moment the right way. I I don't think it was too big for them. Now obviously we're going into a different atmosphere here this week, which will be a huge test for us.

Yeah, he did some really good things in pass pro specifically. Like when he was one on one in pass protection, he did a phenomenal job of sitting down anchoring in pass pro. Uh he moved some people at the point of attack, had a couple of things um at the second level and and a few pulls that got a little bit jacked up. But um I thought he played really well up for his first career start.

Yeah, yeah. I mean I I guess the way the game kinda w went in ways we probably were in some more heavier stuff specifically in the second half um than maybe it would have normally been in ways, but I wanted to get those guys reps. I wanted to um kinda get those guys some more experience, knowing that uh especially early on and th the receivers all kinda got involved and did some things which where we were in the second half. I kinda wanted to get those other guys some more reps. Um yeah, I think it can continue to be a weapon for us to be able to be balanced in some of those settings and do a little bit more out of those groups to continue to help out, especially when you get injuries and and as you know things down the line will come, the more experience and opportunities that we can get those guys reps.

I think it's probably a uh as we go thing. Um, you know, I think it's it's great to get Nate going and especially taking some of those hard downs away from Strange in some ways and being able to be at the point of attack not every single time. Um thought, you know, it was it was cool to all right, Strange hadn't really gotten involved yet and on the drive I said it to the staff on the headset, it's like, hey, we wanna get uh Uh I wanna get strange going here. And on that drive we targeted him on the in break. He was a little bit behind. It got broken up and then we ended up throwing the touchdown to him a few plays later. So I do think that will come. You know, it's hard in in week one to truly get every single thing that you wanted to get done within, especially with the way the game went in so many ways, but I do think that'll come.
