Ah, it was brilliant. It was really, really good. I had managed to kind of c go up along the side of the crowd and by the end of it, because I was on my own at that stage, because I had been poor Ed Smith. I was standing with him when they started, but he had to run to get his train. So I was on my own then, which makes it easier to maneuver in a crowd. So I ended up at one point being more or less under the under the balcony, which was great. Great. Super view. Did they fail new stuff or old stuff? It was mostly they played one of their new songs, Silencio, and then the rest was all old stuff. But the atmosphere was just fantastic. And you know, I felt people were being really nice to each other in the crowd and it it was a it was a g it was just a great moment.
I couldn't
be there. I had an invite to go to a U two event which was on while the last word was on, and then I had to be at a charity event instead afterwards. How was it for you, John?
I I got an invite to that event as well. By the time I turned up, having negotiated Grafen Street for two Twenty minutes. Everyone had left. And then when I tried to get off South Anne Street to go back to Grafton Street to see the gig they wouldn't let me. So I stomped off home at twenty past six.
Yeah, 'cause you had to give your phones because they were playing music from the the new album and you had to give your phones in so I m I did miss John's text message.
I thought it was on till half six and then when I got to the door the bouncers said it's over. They've all gone to see them on the balcony.

That's Carnival. Carnival Deluge. Yeah. Now we've had two songs from it now, uh, Street of Dreams and Silencio. And uh I would probably wager there'll be at least one more before the album comes out.
Yeah, you're probably right. And Silencio, I have to say, they played that in the mix of their kind of old tracks and it really, really worked live.
And they're really leaning into the Bally Mun Beatles thing on the album cover 'cause it's like sort of an homage to Abby Road. Balymon Beatles. Yeah, yeah. Is that a That's what I call them.
