What mindset shifts are necessary for financial freedom?
Most people have a broken mindset and a poor mindset to money. They still have those bad money habits and mindset. Where do they start?
Well, you really have to develop a relationship with money. You have to love it. Like, write it a love letter. If you're going to have thoughts of lack, you're going to be in lack.
How can one cultivate a positive relationship with money?
If you're going to have thoughts of abundance, you're going to live a life of abundance. And it doesn't just have to be money abundance. It's everything abundance. Gaya Dawn is a purpose-driven, holistic, and client-centered financial visionary and founder of Legacy One Financial. where she guides long-term intuitive investors to align mind, body, spirit and money in pursuit of abundant lives. I didn't grow up with money, but I did grow up with parents who taught me meditation. They taught me the law of attraction. I'm very big on the mind, body, spirit and then money.
What role does self-love play in financial success?
And I think it really starts with
If you don't run a business properly because you're always scared, which I see a lot of entrepreneurs are, they don't invest. They stay with one employee and themselves and they burn out and they won't reinvest the money. How do they get through that?
I've been there and felt that way and done it and had to make those commitments in the investment. So, yeah, I think.
It spans the globe like a super high school internet. Elvis, ready? Today, Apple is going to reinvent the phone. It's not over until I win. The Living Your Legacy podcast. For those who live to leave a legacy.
That's extraordinary. The impossible.
How can entrepreneurs overcome a scarcity mentality?
Oh, that is sensational. Open. Chicago was the lead. You said Paul is the fastest man on the planet. You can live your dream. Hello and welcome back to another episode. Sat here today with Geyer and we're going to dive into the world of money, the mindset of money, how to maybe be better with your money and at least work on your mindset to money. I, as I've shared openly before, didn't come from money.
What are the stigmas surrounding wealth and how can they be addressed?
And one of my biggest battles was changing my mindset to money. I grew up in a family that you know, wasn't super poor, but definitely wasn't wealthy and had a lot of those traits of a poor mindset, right? And that mindset made it very hard to grow businesses. So if you're listening, there's a good chance some of those things exist still in your mindset and they're holding you back from the success you deserve. So I'm very excited for this episode and to dive in to these things that can really change your life. So welcome to the show.
Thank you, Rudy. It's such a pleasure to be back and back in Miami in your studio.
So how did you get into this money mindset stuff?
Yeah, and you nailed everything you just said. I related to 100%.
How does money function as an energy source?
It's a long journey, and my show's about that, but I was just an adventurous, soul-seeking, anything that could get me out to travel and all the things. I was in production, video production. I lived on cruise ships, but... My soul was craving something deeper and I knew I could still do those things on my free time. But what I did for a career, I wanted it to be more meaningful. And so I did I did take about nine months off to do some major soul searching, a lot of skiing, and I ran out of money. And I not only ran out of my money, but I went into debt and I and I thought, what what can I do that would really help me on my own financial journey, but also help other people? And it kind of came just fell into my lap to get a job as a financial advisor.
And it was a really kind of weird moment in my life because I didn't know anything about that career and never had thought about it before. But I'm like, OK, I want to learn more. And I applied.
What actionable steps can entrepreneurs take to invest in their growth?
I got this was when I worked more for corporate finance and I applied. I got hired. I passed. It was nine interviews. I passed all the tests, which is they're not easy. You know, very 766 insurance. And then they're like, congratulations, you're a financial advisor. And I'm like, what now? I don't know what I'm doing. But I learned. I learned quickly. I was what they called a fast starter. I was good at building relationships.
