What challenges did Amy Varley face in her early life?

Amy Varley 0:00
Wellness in general can be a battle. People don't really know about the holistic resources that are available out there. I feel like sometimes in that space, you do have to be a warrior because you have to advocate for people. And sometimes great information is hidden. Amy Varley is a passionate connector, entrepreneur, and legacy-driven leader committed to helping others live with purpose and impact. Drawing from her journey of faith and resilience, she empowers individuals to embrace wellness, lead with integrity, and create meaningful transformation. It's just you're one connection away from changing your whole life. And so if I can add any value to people, I'd love to.
Rie Gutierrez 0:36
How did you know that you were designed for this?
Amy Varley 0:38
I've always had a deep desire, like a love for people. I love people. I love helping people. And it's like whenever I find something good, I can't help it. It's like I cannot help but tell them. I have to tell them that something great is available.
Rudy Mawer 0:54
It spans the globe like a super high school internet. Today, Apple is going to reinvent the phone. It's not over until I win. The Living Your Legacy podcast. For those who live to leave a legacy. That's extraordinary. The impossible. Oh, that is sensational.
Jordan. Jordan.

Rie Gutierrez 1:34
For Inside Success, I am Rie Gutierrez. Joining me today is quite the warrior of wellness, Amy Varley herself. Amy, how are you?
Amy Varley 1:42
I'm great.

How did Amy's journey influence her approach to wellness?

Amy Varley 1:43
How are you?
Rie Gutierrez 1:43
Fantastic. Thank you for asking. You literally just finished filming your episode for Women in Power with Kofi.
Amy Varley 1:49
Yeah.
Rie Gutierrez 1:49
How do you feel?
Amy Varley 1:50
I feel great. It was a fun experience. It was really awesome.
Rie Gutierrez 1:54
Walk us through the experience. What are we going to learn about you in your episode?
Amy Varley 1:57
So I'm just sharing with people how I can be a valuable resource to them, like when it comes to health and wellness and that encompasses a lot of things. So.
Rie Gutierrez 2:05
Well, first of all, amazing outfit, costume avatar. You are dressed on brand. Rudy, if you're watching, how are you? Living the red life. Talk about your process. How do you think you arrived in our studios?
Amy Varley 2:21
Okay. So I'm always loving to put myself in rooms that challenge me, make me feel uncomfortable, make me grow. I like being around incredible people. And so I think that's how I ended up in this room of awesome people.
Rie Gutierrez 2:34
That's amazing. That's one of my favorite slides when Rudy's on stage is like, you belong here. And like, you belong here. Having all these cameras, having Kofi step behind the scene photos, do you feel more powerful? Do you feel like you belong? And, you know, is telling your story something that empowers you?
Amy Varley 2:49
Yeah, I feel like I get to help people and I get to make a difference and I get to bless people.

What is the significance of connections in personal growth?

Amy Varley 2:54
So the more I can get uncomfortable and get the word out and, you know, get myself out there, the more people I can help.
Rie Gutierrez 3:01
It's funny because you are a wellness warrior. So talk about your battles.
Amy Varley 3:06
Yeah. So wellness in general can be a battle. People don't really know about the holistic resources that are available out there. I've watched people like transform just having access to information. And so I feel like sometimes in that space, you do have to be a warrior because you have to advocate for people. And sometimes great information is hidden. And so you have to have people that help you find it.
Rie Gutierrez 3:30
So great information is hidden. Let's dive into the trenches. Where was your information hiding before it was found?
Amy Varley 3:38
Well, I feel like whenever I get blessed with something, like maybe something like knowing about this group or environment, I feel like I have to tell people about it because it can make a difference and change their life. And so I got exposed to it. Around when the pandemic happened, I went on a deep dive. And I was really researching because I had a lot of time at home and just checking to see how can we heal our own bodies. And so that led me down a path, led me to a doctor that I just watched basically save people's lives. Wow. And so I just wanted everybody to have that information.
