Well, you know, Climbing Back from Como de Colón, basically, it's a memoir that I, you know, wrote just to kind of empower other women that are going through, you know, a chronic illness, you know, which is what I've endured, you know, throughout my lifetime. And so it's just, you know, my journey, talks about my journey and talks about how I overcame a whole lot. And, yeah. And yeah, and basically empowering other women as well. And that's what it's all about.

So were you, did you start reality as an author? It took you quite a while to become an author. Talk about your journey.
You know, my goal was never to be an author.

Yes, but I wanted to share what happened to me. You know, when I was in coma, I was 10 years old at the time, okay? And, you know, three men came to pray for me. As they were proceeding to leave, their feet weren't touching the ground. And the funny thing is that I was in coma, but the moment they walked in, I became wide awake. I became lucid. because obviously they weren't just humans. And one good thing is that a caregiver, her name is Edith, she was there at the time. She's unrelated to me. She was just doing her shift, watching me, you know, in the hospital. So apparently I was yelling at her, Edith, Edith, because this, it was strange. She was frozen. Her eyes just locked on these three people. It's only later that I learned that she saw the same things.
How did Helen describe the moment she came out of a three-week coma?
So that just changed me forever, you know? And shortly after these men prayed for me, I found myself climbing stairs filled with bright light. Just imagine climbing stairs from here all the way to the clouds. It was so, you know, it was a long journey to get to the top. Once I got there, I saw majestic beings. And in between where I was, you know, standing and where they were, there was a stark line. So I was so excited I ran to, you know, cross over that line. Thank God I didn't. I was stopped by a loud thundering voice that rang, stop, get back, it's not your time. That voice catapulted me back. to the hospital room where I woke up crying, being resuscitated. Now tell me, that moment just changed me forever.
