in the guest's chair, I guess you could say, because I'm going to play you today my chat as part of my book launch at the Wheeler Centre a couple of weeks ago in Melbourne. Now, the Wheeler Centre is, of course, the home of books and writing in Melbourne. They do fabulous things. And my host for that launch is my dear friend and absolutely brilliant broadcaster and presenter and MC, Jess Maguire, who I've known for many years. She used to broadcast on RRR. She's been on ABC Local Radio. She's currently presenting New South Wales Statewide Drive. She's killing it. She's amazing. You're going to love her. She's already been a guest on the show. You know exactly who she is. And we had a gorgeous chat and this one was a special one because it was in front of lots of friends and family.

Before we get started, I do want to acknowledge that we are meeting tonight on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung people of the Kulin Nation, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their elders past and present as the custodians of the world's oldest continuous living culture. Now, it is such a delight to be here at the Wheeler Centre where we are going to talk to the beloved Miff Warhurst about her new book, Middle Rage. Now, it is part memoir, it is part investigation into what women have been told to put up with and laugh off and work around and simply accept.
It moves through so many things like menopause, medicine, relationships, friendships, money, power, tech. And yes, there are laughs because it's Miff and she's funny, but it's also very vulnerable. It's open. It's full of feelings and revelations. And I'm so excited to talk to her. Please put your hands together and give her the warmest welcome, Miff Walhurst. Thank you.
