Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is a podcast from Rover.
Howdy, producer Mitch here. This week started on Star Wars Day. May the 4th be with you. So we brought back a classic.
Star Wars Vector.
Chapter 2: What special event is celebrated on May 4th?
Yes. Are you ready to go?
No. Okay.
Take it away.
No. Off you go. No.
Old friend of the show, Pax Asadi, was in talking about his new book, Mortified, in stores now.
When did you find the time to write all this? Because you were doing the great Kiwi Bake Off. You were doing Raised by Refugees. You were writing a book. You were doing stand-up as well.
Yeah, I'm going to be honest with you, Andrew. I'm a shell of a man right now.
We used to do a podcast together on basketball, and then Pax just got way too big for it.
Yeah, I do. Yeah, it felt really satisfying to leave. It was really satisfying.

Chapter 3: What insights does Pax Asadi share about his new book?
I sent you hate. It's just you don't look at the stuff. I hate people at concerts who film that.
Yeah, yeah. Also, I don't know why you wanted more of that. I'm never watching that. Even your co-hosts feed, nah. Nah. The only one I looked at was The Pretender.
He went all that way and they played their old stuff. I literally sent you a bunch of notes. We got talking tasers this week and we asked if you'd been tasered. But we weren't expecting this call. It was a dark time in my life.
I was a bit suicidal actually and I was considering doing the unspeakable and the police were called and hit me with a taser just to stop me. Oh wow.
Sort of saved you in a way.
That happened to you. You get tasered. How did you get to the point where you got a bit of help and you're in a better place and able to talk to us now Mark?
Of course, you get kind of shipped away to a mental hospital and you get all the help and things with counselling and antidepressants and things and all that turns your life around, really.
And you're now in a much better place for it, Mark. Oh, 100%, yeah. It's a turning point in my life. Who would have thought getting tasered would help you, Mark?
Incredible story.

Chapter 4: What surprising experience did a caller share about being tasered?
Well, there was also all this downstairs chat. My wife had to call someone because I couldn't get it up.
I told you you got caught between the bench and the gear when I dropped it down. My butthole's shiny.
Imagine that round your sauce. Its accuracy is incredible to be a nurse.
And it zapped both my lips at the same time. On your mouth. The ones between my hips as well.
But you can hear that by texting PODCAST to 3520. Don't forget, Mother's Day Sunday. We'll catch you all on Monday. Have a good weekend, New Zealand.
