Whether Christmas is difficult or not this year for you, try to keep in mind that it's just a passing moment, more often than not it's over before it's started and the new year is here. At Christmas I like to focus on what I have achieved over the year, the achievements I've made, large or small and the improvements I've made with OCD, if I don't do this, then nobody else will. I find it to be a very helpful exercise as it helps to draw my attention away from the negative story that OCD tries to spin for us and brings my attention back to all the things that are actually going well in my life.
