How are you, sir? I am dandy. I am envious of the uh San Jose Sharks hoodie for a couple of reasons.
Because one, Curtis has chilled it to about forty four degrees in here. That's one, yes.

Too just the affinity for the for the sharks. Are you a Sharks fan? Um I'm not I mean, not specifically, but back in the nineties I was because of this the Kansas City connection.
Back in the day, Arthur Zurbe was my goalie. So I have an autograph.
Arturus Urbe uh drawing, pent painting somewhere in there. Yeah. It was like the first one of the first blades to make it up to the uh San Jose Sharks. That's why myself and uh our friend Justin Schultz, you may know, we're Sharks fans. We we've seen some playoff games on the road. Um obviously 'cause they're not going to play any San Jose Shark playoff games here in Kansas City. So it requires going on the road to see them. You might have deduced that on your own, but I just thought I'd help out some of the others, some of the
stragglers. Somewhere in my closet I have a shirt that I can no longer wear, nineteen ninety two Turner Cup championship case. There you go.
Well that was our our deal. The
logo. Logo was very cool.
I tried to kind of root for the blues and the devils. You know why the devils? Uh Kansas City Scouts. That's right. There you go. Before they were the Devils, they were the Colorado Rockies. Before they were the Colorado Rockies, they were the Kansas City Scouts. And so I kinda tried. It didn't but then I was like, Oh, day one. be a fan every like when I I have no other team that I could do that for, but I can be a fan every day of their existence. So with the Blades being their IHL affiliate, I became a Sharks fan. That was a great fit. We had we had some we had some decent years. Then it's been god awful, uh but now we have the best young player in hockey. So I will now be chirping Sharks hockey talk much more.

It was a grey logo. The Blades logo was cool. And then they changed it to something else. It was like, what? Yeah.
I'm reminded of uh I think one of my last blades experiences because of the bucket in the Yeah. Um I I had upper nosebleed tickets for the Blades versus the Russian hockey team. Oh wow. Back in the nineties and some sort of exhibition tour and everything. So Blades versus the Russians and uh yep, it was sitting next to one of the buckets up on the upper deck of uh Kemper collecting the rainwater. Done
in the nineties, you said. I believe it was the nineties. Um Depending upon what it was, I mean they I remember it was like about nineteen ninety or ninety one or ninety two, somewhere in there, where they started letting the Russians into the NHL. Yes. Like Fatisov and in a couple of years.
Definitely after the after the thawing and everything like that, 'cause it seems like it was and it I'm pretty sure it was the Russian, it wasn't the Soviet team. So Okay. Could have been I mean the Russian Federation or whatever they were there for a period of time. So Okay. All right, good to know.
