The Aaron Banks adventure and signing has been a disaster. He's been unable to play uh for the most part of the season. And the two guards that they had started the season with, um Donovan Jennings and Jacob. Monks just proved not to be NFL level players. And from there it's caused the cascading effects of uh what I would call an absolute and utter disaster, which has caused the Packers to go out and sign both Makai Becton and Lakin Tomlinson.
Do they uh like they they are not even trying this last game against the Falcons, which was ugly? They did not even attempt to really run the football. I understand Josh Jacobs being down, uh you know, is is a problem. But didn't they kind of know that was coming and should they have had more ready to go at the running back position, or do you think that we might eventually see the kid is all right running the ball uh behind him drawing a blank? Uh I think we're watching Marshawn Lloyd look like a guy who hasn't played football for the better part of three years. I do think there's something more to be had there, but so far he's been remarkably inefficient. Uh his yards over expectation on rushing is amongst the lowest in all of the NFL this year, so he's got quite a ways to go. Um, but it's understandable how that would happen. I don't know what Josh Jacobs would even bring to the to the This offense. I do think the running game would be better, uh, but better as in maybe not one of the worst in all the NFL, and that could be bottom 10. I don't I don't think he makes that much of a difference. I I do think they knew the Josh Jacobs thing was likely going to turn out the way it did, just because how things go up in Green Bay.
Uh the Packers know everything, uh, especially with the judicial system there. So I think they sort of Anticipated it. They really liked Caleb Johnson, and it's been a slow burn to bring him into the offense. Uh, I just don't think Anybody's going to have much success behind what is, I mean, the worst offensive line I've seen at the professional level in in all my time of watching the NFL.
