Well, let's start with Kenny Hinkley being named the Tasmania Devils coach coming into the competition, yet to be given the official license, as I keep reminding people, that's a provisional license, but it's clearly going to happen because he's now been appointed today.
As per the announcement in Tasmania, Bill, your great mate, Kenny Hinkley, in a five-year deal. Obviously, one of those five years will be next year when they're not actually playing, so it's a good deal for him, and I think it's a good decision.
And he's going to hit the market pretty quickly, and they already have with their approaches to senior players, and Ken's just going to continue that drive and that agenda. We can aim for the top. We can aim for as big as we can, and we won't not try. We'll go after everything that's possible, and we'll make sure we give it a great shot. There'll be knockbacks, there'll be turndowns, but there'll be some yeses, and that's what we'll get. But we won't... We won't put any limits on who we're going after. We'll just go after the right people. I've got to keep saying that they have to be the right people, not just people.
So as we know, Jim, they've had clauses that the AFL has granted them on top of the list concessions they'll get with access to players in this year's draft going into the 2027 season. And again, the raft of massive picks they'll get in the 27 draft going into the 28 season. The access to players who are at footy clubs at the moment and the special dispensation, multi-millions of dollars of dispensation to attack these players, they're not going to die wondering on it. Brendan Gale came in Triple M Friday Huddle about a month ago and indicated, as best you can read, Bill, that they won't use it for one player, which to me was take Nick Dacos, the Nick Dacos type out of the equation.

It still leaves the Tom Green type of player, someone who was a very, very, very good player at his footy club and has been a long, I suppose, time target for the Tassie team.

Yep. Alex Pearce has been the one who's been pretty strongly linked in recent times, Bill. A leader of the, obviously, Fremantle Footy Club at the moment and someone who has got the links down there in Tassie. Again, other names who've been out there for some time, Bo McCreary from Collingwood and Ryan Mansell. These are all yet to be determined and they can't sign in the AFL system, as we know. They cannot sign deals until basically in that October trade period.
