What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
This is Triple M's Rush Hour. The Penrite Oil. 100 years still driven. JB and Billy started strong. Oh, well, we're off to a crouching start-up. That's exactly jumped out of the block. And they've only gotten better. We're crawling to the line, I have to say. We're not resting the tight chin. So Triple M's Rush Hour is taking a bye. I'll have a spell. Have a spell, Matt. And instead, we give you the best of JB and Billy. Do you reckon anyone on any other show is rolling with this sort of stuff? It's the Rush Hour's mid-season break. I feel good! On Triple M.
That's it. It's not just the footy teams who get a bye. We've sent JB and Billy off for a couple of weeks for a bit of a breather too. Maybe a trip to warmer areas of the country. Bill might even be going to the Noosa Surf Club where there's actually a beach that he's never seen before. In the meantime, we're looking back at our favourite moments for the year so far. But in this hour, the boys are also going to reflect on some of their favourite ever footy. footy show moments today we talk about billy's wheel plus we hear from topics brownless and the host of have you been paying attention tommy gleisner but first we head back to pre-season footy in february when we did a show from icon park and billy decided to recreate one of his most chaotic moments
Ratty! Speaking of buttons. What? Oh! No. What's this red thing over there? Oh, hang on. Bill. What is it? Bill, don't touch it. No. It's the emergency siren. So why would they put it in front of me, a big red button? I don't know. Why would they do that, Rat? If you hit that, the siren will sound across Icon Park. I bet you it won't. We're not taking that. No, it won't. Sure.
Oh!
It actually works. What's a red button? What's the sirens going up here? We've got a bloody siren. We've got a siren. Stop it. Mike, stop. We will get kicked out of here. We will get kicked out of here. So that was two years ago when they put the emergency siren in our box. Last year we were in the same commentary box and they'd actually unplugged, de-wired the red button so you couldn't push it. This year they've moved us into another completely different commentary box to keep you away from blowing a siren here, Bill. That was because of the carry-on and there's a game on so you can't do it. So they've made sure. You can't do it because there is a game on.
What hilarious incident occurred with an air horn at IKON Park?
There's a game on, Fat. Oh, no. They're still playing. Bill has produced an air horn. Oh, no. They're not stopping this game, are they? Oh, hang on.
I'm hiding. I'm actually hiding.
I'm hiding.
Oh, my goodness. You are a child.
The Geelong bench. Have a look at the players down there. They're filthy. And the Blues bench. Cooper Hamilton's wandered up. He's pissing himself. He thinks it's outrageously good fun. The Cats are, have a smile, you little turds.
It's okay.
It's a bit of fun. You're in front. Fair to say, I don't think we'll be allowed back into Icon Park anymore. Up next, we chat to the host of Have You Been Paying Attention, Tom Gleisner.
This is the Rush Hours mid-season break. Back soon with more of the best from JB and Billy. The world just feels right.
You cook your dinner on a Monday night, then you sit down and watch Have You Been Paying Attention, which is brilliantly hosted by our man, Tommy Gleisner.
Just like JB and Billy. Our next guest knows that when you're the host of a long-running and successful show, there's always someone working to take the job from you. G'day, Tom. Hey, everyone. I have just been announced as the new host of what brand new show? Robert Irwin, hosting what new show? Have you been paying attention? Please welcome the host of Have You Been Paying Attention, Tom Gleisner.
Oh, here he is. Yes, Jim. Tommy Gleisner. Good chatting to you always. How are you? Great to be back with you gentlemen and another season. I think it's like our season 14. That means it's a bloody good show. That means I think we are the second longest running show on Channel 10. Behind? Mass for you at home. Who? Bill's expression says it all. It was huge. Oh, it's a big primetime show.
