With the long-time challenges faced by the queer community being amplified by increasingly hostile rhetoric at home and globally, and the shocks of lost funding as many long-time Pride sponsors dial back or withdraw corporate donations, the Toronto run club community has taken a stand, serving as a driving force in the fundraising efforts long at the heart of Toronto’s Pride & Remembrance Run.This week on The Shakeout Podcast we sit down with Siphelele Danisa and Jocelyn Riet, two local organizers in Toronto's queer running community.
