So today we've got everything from a big name dropping out of a project, a long-awaited Netflix doco, and what the internet sleuths are saying about Miley Cyrus. Okay, first up, I feel like every morning I wake up and my feed is Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock being fabulous on yet another Practical Magic 2 red carpet.

And speaking of Ariana Grande, she is pushing through a foot injury at the moment. She posted on her Instagram stories that she'll be trading her signature heels for more sensible shoes for the last shows of her tour. She said, I wanted to let you know I will need. to be in cozy footwear for this evening's show and possibly tomorrow's. She said it's not a sprain or anything muscular, but just a deep cut. Honestly, if it was me, I would never be up there on stage in heels. The flats would be what I'm opting for every single day. So more power to her and I hope she recovers soon. Okay, we need to talk about the fact that Miley Cyrus seems to be teasing a new era by changing her name because fans are spiraling over it.
I mean, it's not an entire name change, but she does appear to be dropping her last name ahead of dropping new music. She's debuted a new handle on her social media profiles, dropping Cyrus to just go by Miley, and her new album, Bass Persuades, is coming out on September 18th. She's also re-vented Her website from MileyOfficial.com to just Miley. And some Miley fans have been speculating that the name drop is a dig and her dad Billy Ray, but it doesn't seem that way because Miley has said that the family has, you know, squashed things and smoothed things over after years of feuding. It definitely seems like it's all about her new music era because she's been posting on Insta with photos that have like a moody red-black aesthetic, and it definitely feels as though the whole
whole thing is part of branding for her new album. And honestly, maybe she also just wants to embrace the single name vibes because lots of artists do. Look at Cher, Adele, and Beyoncé.
